If you have Legal Insurance via your Employer’s Benefits …

Some of my clients are members of company-provided insurance programs, including ARAG and MetLife, through their benefits elections.

Each of these services offers several basic plans, and covers different products for different companies.  Before we start work on any project for you, we will need to verify your coverage.  If you end up wanting me to develop plans or documents that are not covered, then these can be purchased at a discount from my standard rates.

We will go over that as part of the initial discussions.

The general steps are as follows:

• Schedule an initial meeting with me, usually about 20-30 minutes.  We will verify coverage and get a general sense of what you will need.
• You will fill out the appropriate intake forms to give me details about you and your family, and describe particulars about what you need.
• Hold a planning meeting, usually about 30 minutes, to discuss the exact documents that meet your needs.
• Then, I’ll create the documents, and when I’m done you will review them, and we will arrange a time to get them signed.  As part of my unique process and for your convenience, in most cases I will come to you for the signing meeting.
• The overall timeframe can be from a week to a month or more.  It depends mostly on how long each of us takes to review the documents or process forms.

The work I do for you when you have insurance  is similar to anything I would do for my private-pay clients.
